Pros & Cons
Pros
The desk protector fits great and i even forget that the table has one. I have an old solid wood teacher's desk that is sentimental to me, but am using it where the family computer resides. This protector mat is exactly what i wanted!
Firm and quality construction. Looks great actually. First day i bought it.
Cons
This desk protector is not clear. The clear side seems to have a thin coat of a sticky substance. The back is cloudy and oily.
It lays curled up on both sides of my desk. It's not attractive and it's a nuisance to slide things around on top of it. The anti-slip surface backing easily peels away, and arrived with lines and puckering.
I'm disappointed with the packaging, which is the reason i'm returning it. Poor quality.
Highlights
Quality
It's thick and the quality is better than i expected.
I chose this as a replacement and am very satisfied.
That may be annoying, but it speaks to the quality.
I read some of the reviews about it being wrinkled or won't lay flat and i wonder if they're talking about the same product.
Shipping
Nice mat for a large desk at our shipping station where we wanted to post some procedures underneath.
Packaging/appearance
It arrived rolled up, but flattened out completely when removed from the box.
It arrived rolled in the carton but immediately laid flat when unpacked.
