The micro fleece lining is so soft! They are good down to about 10 degrees alone and then i add a heavier thermal layer. In or outdoors they are warm and wearable all day. They are lightweight and the fleece inside really does keep my legs warm.

They are much less expensive than my favorite patagonia layers. Size large fits me well. I am a 36 waist and ordered xl and the fit is perfect.

This fit and did its job as far as retaining heat. This allows me to take several pairs of base layers and extend the time between washings of the mid layers.

However, there are sizing issues. They bunch up so much at the bottom they look like scrunch socks. Fit is small and wierd too.

There is nothing about these that are thermal. These are just like the super thin, cheap other versions on amazon that are listed as moisture wicking compression pants for staying cool in the heat. They say fleece lined, nope.
