Pros
The fit is perfect, the material is lightweight and breathable, and they give me great support while working out. The side pocket is a bonus. I'm 5'10, 170 pounds and ordered size large which fits perfect.
Wicking and drying material also makes them a must on long runs. Help to prevent chafing and/or road rash in bad areas.
Cons
The waistband is too narrow and thin. The items are nothing more than men's spandex boxer shorts. No junk space, no front fly, too hot, needs double seam on * as well as front.

It is not necessary to wear these with another pair of shorts just a personal preference as the side pocket is large enough for keys a small music device i use my old iphone 4andor smaller items

I have ordered both the ones with and without the side pocket and have learned the 23 more for a set of 3 with the pockets is much better for me when i run as it allows a secure place to put my phone
