This is the best value combo in my opinion if you want xr tools.
The xr tools are dewalt in house development and not licensed to others are others tools licensed to dewalt.

I had the old 15v tools and those batteries and the battery design were not good even though i had them for 6 years—so that is good press for dewalt products
