Pros

The great thing about the hammer drill is you can turn the hammering portion off whenever you don't want it. The impact is also light weight but very powerful and the 3 torque mode settings make it versital for many different types of jobs.

Great product from a reliable source. Dewalt is a good brand and the quality reflects.

Cons

Dewalt warranty appears to be just a marketing talking point at least for retail consumer. Edit; finally received un-repaired drill in the mail.

I’ve converted over to the 20v max series after deaths of other tools.

Also, the battery charger with this package will charge batteries twice as fast as the one that comes with the 791.

This package includes two things that the 791 (and equivalent package) doesn’t include.
