Very strong, durable drill motor like all dewalt products.
A high quality tool that will give you excellent service for a long time.
This has a lot of torque which is sometimes needed when drilling tough wood.
It doesn't feel cheaply made at all.
Price
Definitely worth every penny of what this drill cost and i definitely recommend it.

I have a large collection of more than 15 including yard tools dewalts of which 3 are other drills

I put a 2 forstner bit on it and aggressively drilled some holes in an oak slab it did not bog this drill down noticeably
