Great value for the money and way better than a cheaper corded palm sander. It sands just like my corded version & easy to use (w/out the cord! Changing sandpaper is easy and it comes with a dust bag.
Some off-brand 6ah batteries are slightly thinner than dewalt's and fit just fine. Amp hour 20 volt batteries give a pretty long run time.
Dewalt 20v cordless tools are the best i’ve ever seen. Inside and close to a plug, electric. Outside, the cordless one. I have plenty of batteries so a bare tool was great.
Cons
The sander doesn't sand evenly. The dust bag that comes with the sander is tiny and useless.

The plastic piece punches holes in the sandpaper to let the dust go through to the dust collector.
No cost lasts forever, yet easily replaced if needed .

Although the sander appears to be unused i would feel more comfortable if it came in the original packaging.

When i received my order it did not come in the manufacturers dewalt box
