Pros

Good suction power, caster wheels are smooth as silk. Comes with useful attachments and has great suction. It is a little louder, but the suction is better.

Cons

Power gets to the motor for about 1 second then it shuts off again. The bracket that holds the filter in place is difficult to install, uninstall. The replacement motor for this is almost as much as the unit itself making replacing it pointless.

But the hose is stiff and of small diameter. I've never been impressed with its suction power.

So much for dependability and customer service. Brand-specific expendable supplies are the undisclosed cost of items that may appear to be a good buy at first.

Hose assembly to canister is quick and easy with all parts designed to be user friendly.

This vacuum is unbelievable, i really do not have to hold the hose any higher than 4in.

I cannot sing enough good praises about my dewaltit truly has "suction power".

Price

I got this on sale and i've been happy to have it ever since.

I liked the reviews, and it was the best value for the price!

I was unable to match that one without going up in price significantly.

Shipping was a little slower than what i have come to expect from amazon, but it beat the delivery time stated by a week.

I have not used this yet and have'nt even unpacked it.

Competitiveness

This wet/dry vacuum has a lot of power for its size, and more attachments than some other brands.

Build quality is far superior to any of the cheaper options on the market and the lid fits nice and snug.

I talked to amazon support, then dewalt, then alton industry, who must make it for dewalt.

You will do much better if you eyeball the pieces and compare them with the picture on the front of the box.
