The other option (timewise) was the bosch but it has a proprietary mandrel that only fits bosch so it was a no go.
It's taller than the milwaukee holesaws which was a disadvantage in my case but really didn't matter.

The ceiling is made of 3834 drywall nailed to the ceiling joists with another 3834 plaster under the drywall the plaster is not drywall 34topper34 rather it is finishing plaster with has sand in it and is quite hard
