Pros & Cons
Pros
The saw is convenient to carry, has plenty of power and the setup is simple. The clamp quick release is smooth and easy to use. The blade is easy to switch out as advertised. Easy to use, setup and move.
Cons
This chop saw has three engineering problems from the get-go. Anything else this saw really struggles. Spend a a little bit more and get a better saw with an actual toothed blade.
Returned to manufacture. Looks like they are passing it on to the dewalt brand now. Very disappointing. I have to look into what the warranty covers.
Not very gutsy, cutting half inch steel takes for ever. Angle cuts are off by as much as 1/4.
Highlights
Quality
Good saw, buy quality blades, precise enough for farm work.
I have contacted dewalt twice, each time with the promise of being sent any paperwork, but none had ever arrived.
But with the abrasive, you can buy under $6 and it will cut as good as diamond blade one.
Packaging/appearance
Saw did have a few nicks in the paint.
Competitiveness
Amazon does need to do a better job examining products.

Cons: trouble cutting some sizes on a 45-degree angle due to limitations- blocking behind 2-inch tubing is required for example.
