Pros

It is cheaper here than lowes or another hardware store. The battery has very good longevity! Haven't had the compatible batteries long enough to assess them on life span yet.

Since they sent a second pair of batteries and all 4 are charging, i guess that makes up for needing to buy another charger. The 6 amp battery is far superior that the lower amps.

Cons

Of 4 batteries i bought new, all 4 are duds and came with1/3 charge and won't recharge. They light up the too cold/hot light on charger, but will not charge.

These are great, holds charge a long time.

I own 23 dewalt tools that use these batteries, mostly purchased as bare tools, and 6 of these 6 ah batteries.

Took me about six hours (obviously not running continuously), and the second battery still had juice when i was done.

Price

My purchase was exactly what i expected and priced well!

Bought these for my fil, he needed some beefier batteries- so these were great and we caught them on a super sale!

Packaging/appearance

I have 2 2hr and 2 4hr dewalt batteries and was interested in the 6hr batteries which arrived as expected in perfect condition!

Competitiveness

Previously i ordered lower cost brand x batteries and they did not work out.

I first bought an offbrand, but i came back and bought the dewalt brand works extremely well.

A lot of people don't like dewalt, but for the price and warranty, this is the best in the market.
