Pros

This blower is such a pleasure to use. Don’t hesitate, it’s a great blower for the value! Very pleased with the performance.

Built in stand on the bottom makes it convenient to set down w/o falling over. I like it and it holds a place for a quick cleanup. Held about 8 inches above water compacted, matted debris, it tears up the debris.

Only drawback is that it's noticeably heavier than the other dewalt blowers. It drains battery like crazy and for sure you will need multiple batteries for any projects requiring more than 10 minutes of continuous run time. It's lightweight and very e...  Read More

Cons

Blowing power is garbage. Very powerful but rips through batteries in no time. Also the position of the intake is extremely offensive, it pulls from the righthand side of the unit which means if you use in your left it * any clothes into the intake.

Quality

In all, i have been really happy with the operation.

I like think how cool this will be when we get solar pv panels to charge the batteries with the energy of today's sunlight, and...  Read More

The problem i have with the gassys is they are costly to maintain and require tune ups when they become hard to start.

With the 9aph battery the blower will run at full throttle for around 15 minuets straight.

Competitiveness

Goes through batteries and i have large 60v batteries.

This blower is far more powerful than the 20v model

Will use up 2 60v batteries to do my medium sized yard and still not get the job finished.

It was good when i used 40v battery, but don't accept 20v battery.
