Pros & Cons

Pros

Over sized side handle helps you control it well. It feels solid and i would not classify it as light. Using 60v 9 amp battery, power is the bomb. My flex volt 9.

The dcd996 is a great all rounder if i could only choose one drill. The mixer drill seems a bit slower in reverse than in forward, though i haven't notice a lag in power. Does just as well if not better than my corded mixing drill.

The drill is large, so if you are storing it in a dewalt box system or similar, please take that into consideration. This drill is an absolute beast and worked flawlessly and never had any issues.

Quality

Drill had excellent power and did the job as well as a corded mixing drill

Very powerful, the perfect drill for mixing mortar, concrete and drywall mud.

Mixed thinset for two days on one charge.

My old corded spun at 450rpm @ no load and this one 600 @ no load but turned up that whole bucket of concrete like it didnt even care.

Price

Great price as a tool only kit!

If you can find it for $195, buy it.

Nice drill but priced alittle high in my opinion

Shipping

Love this drill súper powefull more than what i expexted got it shipped in 3 days in mail box no complaint !

Received on time and in excellent condition.

Came 2 days earlier than expected delivery.

Packaging/appearance

I emptied the entire bag in, added water and went to it.

My drill may have been a returned item as the chuck holes were dented, probably from the chuck key.

Competitiveness

Compared to the gas-powered auger that i was using, it is lighter and easier to use.

The dcd130 is just in another class, for the price, it wasn't much more than my hitachi corded drill, but a massive improvement...  Read More

What else can you say this thing is a beast but its dewalt so thats what you expect the torque is twice of what my corded dewalt drill was it took me a minute to get used to mix and mud if you dont watch what youre doing youll throw it like a rookie all over the place and itll rip your arm out im 250 lb when i first got this drill i put a one and a quarter paddle bit in it went outside put it on a tree that was on the ground with all my weight on it pulled the trigger and could not stop this thing from spinning the only thing i was disappointed in was my own fault i got at least 25 batteries so i got tool only when it was delivered my heart sunk as soon as i seen it it takes the flex batteries so 300 later my drill worked
