As a loyal dewalt customer i am even more angry to discover that this is an issue they have not seen fit to solve after years of complaint.

Bought this to assist with the assembly of bed with canopy, great piece of kit with a 4amp hr battery plenty of staying power.
Having used and abused it for years the battery is without doubt fantastic and very long lasting.
As a test i tightened a screw very tight with the dewalt & then tried to remove with a manual snap-on screwdriver and i couldn't move it!
I already had a cheap imapct screwdriver which has been amazing for most things but is not strong enough for some really tight screws.

Great price on amazon cheapest i found & included battery & charger.
Wow, what a bargain, usually these impactdrivers are sold without battery or charger .

The most annoying thing for me is that when your hand grips the driver you often trip the switch that changes the rotation direction

As a non professional i fail to see the need for the side clip near the battery but accept that pro guys might find it helpful mine now removed
