Pros & Cons
Pros
Cordless drill for demolition and drilling in masonry. Perfect for demolition of tile. Used to chip up exposed aggregate epoxy flooring for repairs.
Great tool. Just freaking awesome… get one. No more sweating and pushing on the drill.
Outperforms my older corded model by a longshot. It hits harder than a jackhammer plugged into the an outlet. Easy to change bits, and batteries. Holds its own very well with a 6ah or 9ah battery.
Cons
First time i was disappointed with a dewalt product. Worked great for two months then stopped drilling. Very hard to remove, to change battery.
Highlights
Quality
Lightweight and yet easy to use with depth adjustment.
You will be happy… one of the best purchases i’ve made
Coupled with the 60 volt flexvolt, it drilled flawlessly for over an hour, a total of 115 holes drilled.
This model takes literally 15-20 seconds to drill completely through a 4" slab for anchor bolts into concrete for wall framing.
Price
I did not need a high end brushless sds hammer drill and this met my price point.
Very helpful, and definitely worth its cost!
Shipping
This unit arrive on time and in great condition.
Packaging/appearance
Picture shows the product with dmounted epth drill rod but is not included.
Competitiveness
I also have a bosch cordless jackhammer and it is considerably less powerful.
I am ordinarily dyi and follow the dewalt line because the majority of the construction sites use them.
