Pros

When used properly this gun is fantastic. No more lugging around a compressor and hoses. No need for 120v anymore. And no compressor noise. It's a little slower than a pneumatic but it makes up for that not dragging a air hose.

Great for small jobs. Need to put one fence board up not a problem. Make sure you are already invested in dewalt batteries. The battery it comes with is huge.

Cons

Worn until no longer operable. Out of warranty! For a quick hour project maybe this makes sense but never as a full time framer.

Battery life was really great, and the drive depth adjustment works well

I use my existing battery's for all my other dewalt tools and it works fantastic love it wish i bought it years ago

Shoots nails hard and sinks them, including ring shanks.

One point i must point out; this thing is very very heavy, especially if you put a big battery on it.

I completed it in 4 days, and had maybe 2 jams.
