Pros

This type of cut is often required to get clean cuts and prevent the arbor from getting pinned or pinched when top-cutting. It means you have to use your brain and be don't let the saw get pinched as it's cutting and the limb leans into the cut. Great... Read More

The battery clicks in firmly and securely and stays out of any interference. The battery is expensive to replace but if you seldom use it, you probably will not have to replace the battery. I have 4 drill and impact drills that use the 20v batteries.

Cons

The hook on the back of the cutting blade is too long and chunky, always getting hung up and preventing proper positioning for the cut. This causes lots of hangups by cutting the wrong limb and unable to tell when the cut is almost complete.

Came with 1 dewalt battery and it's own charger.

However, the saw looked as though it was thrown into the box with little to no packing materials.

I have several other dewalt battery operated tools, so this was my obvious choice.
