Pros & Cons
Pros
This * eater is the real deal. Great weedeater cuts through everything plenty of power. The shield is small but doesn't really bother me.
This string trimmer is perfect if you meet a few prerequisites. Zero regrets. Good planning. Easy to setup.
Only hassle i keep encountering is when i need to spool up new line. Low setting is more than powerful enough for tall thick growth and battery lasts longer. The 2 speed option, comes handy while you're charging batteries.
My only gripe is that they don't seem to produce many accessories for this.
Cons
If you can continue to stomach two * exhaust and replacing carbs yearly, then i think that would probably provoke less vitriol and general why-is-my-tool-company-making-* sort of sentiment. I'm glad i wasn't using the dewalt several hours drive away a... Read More

The unit is very versatile and very strong motor

It wasn't too heavy and the batteries lasted a long time
Plus, remove the cord cutter from the bottom, it is useless and wastes a lot of cord, and slows you down.
Price
This weed eater is the real deal.
It was expensive, but worth every penny!
Although it's expensive it is a we'll made trimmer.
Shipping
Still haven't run the battery dead yet.
Competitiveness
We returned this model because it requires a 60 v battery that costs as much as the weed eater.
The dewalt model is night and day different.
But putting new string on is fairly difficult compared to echo, for example.
