Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Very clear lense and the readers are a perfect magnification. Lens is mostly distortion free but the diopters are on the small side for my needs. The rx-bifocal is essential for reading instructions, etc.

These are more durable than other brands i have used. The only down side is the scratch resistance. Fits well works as expected.

Glasses are about perfect for the cyclist. Wind protection for my eyes is very good, as good as real cycling glasses. On my ride today, before a long slow climb, i folded the glasses and parked them in a rear pocket of my cycling jersey.

Cons

The neoprene sleeve it comes with is just a tube and is so tight to get the glasses in. The $3 throwaway safety glasses from hf are better.

Curved lens introduces significant peripheral distortion. Bifocal magnifier section is too small for me. Non-magnified area of lens is extremely distorted and is unusable.

Quality

Sturdy and can see well with them and they do not hurt my head.

They’re comfortable, and the bifocal lens seems accurate and has good optics.

The bifocals are distortion free and large enough for most uses.

All safety glasses cause a distortion to my eyes now

Price

These seem to be sufficient - for the price.

Fortunately these are reasonably priced to afford this approach.

Packaging/appearance

The one that packed it just took and bent the plastic packaging to where it would fit in the box.

During transit (since the plastic packaging was compromised) the glasses were scratched especially around the bifocal area.

Competitiveness

Took a chance on these dewalt safety glasses and i must say i am impressed; they cost less than the other brand, are quite comf...  Read More

I had another brand and the frame cracked and had to toss them.
