This one was a bit pricey for my limited useage but i just did a very complicated layout with it that not only came out extremely accurate it only took me about 20 minutes

Did try a cheap bosch red laser unit from lowes and there is no comparison to this item

The green laser is a must if you do anything in a bright or daylit environment

Case is though however not a heavy duty plastic case which may crack with loads on top

Dewalt does not have a great video out there showing how all the pieces work within the case or a general video showing how this works in multiple applications
