    I have purchased other brands of drill bits and after using the dewalt bits i realize the others were not working well

    With the caveat that you really must use a threadcutting oil in steel and other hard metals to assure a clean bore and prolong the life of the bits and the suggestion that if you are boring a hole over 38 in diameter or even smaller if you want to assure close tolerance you should start with a 18 pilot hole before boring to your final diameter
