I have used many of these saws over the years & i think the quality does vary considerably.

I have been extremely pleased with the saw.

You can really tell the quality in the cuts and angles.

They come with the mounting adapters for the saw.

I took the saw out of the box and noticed that during shipping the lock down had come loose and the saw obviously had moved in shipping.

Too much can happen to it during shipping to knock it out of spec.

Packaging/appearance

My first project was to build some shelves out of cedar and it cut through the boards like butter.

The saw was dead on right out of the box.

Accuracy was near perfect right out of the box.

Competitiveness

I also added a 12inch freud diablo 80t blade before even making the first cut.

I saved up a little bit more money and bought the dewalt dw718 12-inch double-bevel slide compound miter saw.

I looked at the ridgid, bosch and milwaukee.

Trash the oem bag, and hook up your shop-vac.
