Pros

Tool shreds through sheetmetal like the hottest of knives through butter! Only problem with the dual cutting action is that it is more difficult to make an inside corner cut. Recommended for use with sheet metal 18 ga.

Cons

Works best on thin material only. Thicker material bogs it down. Does not turn easily. Drill attachment works much better.

Very good product, cuts through galvanized flashing very easily once you get it at the proper angle.

They are built well, and feel very solid.

Tool shreds through sheetmetal like the hottest of knives through butter!

On pieces smaller than 2" wide, the warpage is practically non-existant, and much reduced from my bosch single action shear.

Competitiveness

I have had two other brands and the dewalt seems to be of better quality than both of the others.

Definitely better than a pair of handheld shears, there's no comparison there.

The very similar 'kett' tool does not have a trigger lock.
