Pros

Avid dewalt owner. What a fantastic little saw. The two tools are equivalent in operation. There's been a revolution in power tools and it's called batteries.

Strong motor and adjustable speed lets you cut precisely and comfortably. Comes with attached allen wrench so you can adjust the stop or add a third party plate.

Works like a champ. It handles great. Saw seems ok. It works great and performs as expected.

Light on the dewalt is nice and the hook is handy when you work at a tri-stand. It adjusts the depth of the backstop so you can cut larger items. Good visibility of the cutting face and weight of cutter assists gently.

Cons

This expensive piece of junk lasted two weeks before it turned into a 13 pound beast of burden. I travel with my tools and this expensive item of junk.

This thing is extremely well made and i have used it quite a bit more than i had expected to.

Brushed tool it is loud and the included blade was welded together off about a 32nd of an inch resulting in loud thunk on every revolution.

Extremely unsafe, can't be used in an osha compliant safety environment.

Got it at a good price on amazon and so far it is a beast.
