Pros

The unit works wonderfully. Very neat and compact set up. Check your dimensions, this reel is huge! Works perfectly to deliver air where i need it, but the reel casing is huge.

It retracts easily and smoothly. The retractable mechanism is awesome.

Mounted on wall in a workspace. I have it mounted on a wheeled dolly. This is mounted on the ceiling beam of my husband's woodshop.

The mounting mechanism is a bit handier than it looks. The mounting bracket looks cheap but it has metal reinforcement. It mounts easily and has a great hose reel turning radius.

Cons

The hose reel is advertised as having a stop-anywhere ratcheting mechanism, but it looks faded. It has leaked from day 1. When i first hooked it up, i heard a hissing leak.

The unit is surprisingly bulky for only 50' of hose. It's fantastic when it works. Would be glad to receive a new working unit to revise this review.

Dewalt does put out quality products, for the home user at least.
