The first thing i noticed and like about dewalt 8 vise is that it has finegrooved replaceable steel jaws which is great because you can easily replace them if you mar them most yosts dont have that feature

Once you get to a vise this size clamping it to your desktop is no longer the best option you’ve graduated to the necessity of bolting it down permanently and that’s how this unit is designed there is no option to clamp it to your desktop

I had to do a lot of cutting on 34 gas pipe then thread all the cut pieces
