Lightweight
Customers generally find the DEWALT Router (DW621) lightweight and easy to handle due to its compact size and weight. Dust Collection Efficiency
Customers have generally positive opinions about the dust collection efficiency of the DEWALT Router DW621. They appreciate that it effectively collects most of the dust and chips during operation, making cleanup easier and keeping their work area tidy. Some customers even mention that it outperforms other routers in terms of dust collection. However, a few users note that while the dust collection is good, it doesn't completely eliminate all dust during use.
Powerful
Customers generally have positive opinions about the powerful nature of this DEWALT router, with many praising its ability to handle deep cuts in various materials without slowing down. Having used it, i can say that it is well built, has plentyof power, and is much lighter and more manuverable thaen my old router.
A very needed and often absent feature on most routers.
After 3 years of use, the speed control went haywire and the unit would only run at its maximum speed.
Price
Save your $$the edge guide is o.
If you’re thinking of buying the green tool for the dust collection (like i was), save your money and get this one!
The parts were $92 from dewalt and the repair was easy to do.
I will probably have my old unit repaired again if it is not too expensive.
Shipping
I ordered another one from amazon prime with next day delivery.
Using the vaccum attatchment with this router is a god sent.
