Do yourself a favour and spend a little more to get a better quality lamp. However the touch sensitivity is horrible, you have to use 2 fingers to turn it on and off.

Gentle touch or even a hard tap doesnt turn on the lamp you have to grab the base with at least 2 fingers to turn on the thing and it reacts pretty well for that approach
