I fill it quite full with plain water and dip each paw in before wiping with a damp cloth then drying with a towel.
Having a pomeranian that loves walking but not bathing this is a great piece of kit.
Price
Definitely worth the money we use it all time to clean our dog paws.

Liked design simple and easy to use delivery was excellent but its the wrong colour and my husband used it without realising i ordered green because i wanted green if i had wanted blue i would have ordered blue usually delighted with amazon but disappointed with purchase experience on this occasion

Not sure what the dog makes of it but seems to be resigned to it now
