Quality
The strainer and the board are very sturdy, so it is a good quality product.
Great investment for our house, especially with the limited amount of counter space that we have.
Didn't think the quality was as good tho so i am sticking with this.
I first saw this at the crate and barrel outlet in green and white, but it didn't go with the colors in my kitchen.
Price
The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the price.
Packaging/appearance
The only improvement i wish it had would be the strainer portion lifting out in order to empty the contents.
I can quickly dump all of my cuttings into the strainer for rinsing or tossing into the garbage.
You chop the food, scape it into the colander, then dump the colander contents into your bowl, pot, pan.

This strainer works well for rinsing fruits and vegetables both before or after you've chopped them on the board.

It fit my dropin stainless twin sink and the edges really did grip the sink

I am able to drain and rinse vegetables directly into the sink i have a place to toss unneeded veggie parts to dump in the trash later also when it gets dirty i just spray water on it from my faucet
