The non-stick coating on this is nothing short of dangerous. This pot seems to have serious durability and safety flaws. The wire coming out of the handle, makes it difficult to plug into higher outlets.

When empty the heavy handle can cause the pot to tip

On the highest setting the spaghetti sauce started popping and splashing out real quickly so i either had to keep it on the lower setting or stir constantly just as it would have happened in a regular pan on a burner on the stove top

I kept it on high when i wanted to heat it quicker and was able to stay with it and stir but when i needed to step away from it to tend to something else i just turned it down onto the lower setting and it kept it warming without it splashing

I automatically set it on a hot pad but i touched the pan while the food inside was hot and the pan itself was not hot to touch on the outside or on the bottom just a little bit warm so it appears that you probably wouldnt have to sit it on something

The only downside is this pot unfortunately does not cook evenly

The heated ring inside cooks mostly what resides on top of it leave uncooked spots
