Pros

Shabu shabu pot is fairly lightweight but seems to do the job for which it's meant. Removable pot makes cleaning a breeze. It's easy to clean and convenient.

The pan is fairly thin metal, so it heats up fast.

I am a bit concerned about how well it will hold up over time because it is so light it doesn’t feel super sturdy.

Price

If you were to buy the pot and lid for use on your stove i doubt you would pay over $20 for it as a stew pot, maybe no more than $15.

I think that the current price of $70 is a little steep but not necessarily out of reach.

I believe the correct price point for a pot of this quality would be in the $55-$60 dollar range.
