W high heat power is adequate. The 600w power brings soup to boil very nicely, and the 150w power keep the soup simmering and bubbling very nicely. There are only 2 temperature settings via a knob so its really simple to use.

Boiling or simmering is equally as easy, the pan holds a liter and a half of whatever, heats up quick and can be brought back to a simmer via the control dial. Great for steaming veggies. Comes with a glass lid and a tin steamer.

With my kiddo heading to college this fall, this is a must have for her. The dorm has a very small kitchenette and this will be perfect for a small space.

This cooker is surprisingly versatile and has made cooking a breeze. It's incredibly user-friendly, and the setup was simple, plug and cook.

It has stopped heating (after only 10 months) on the higher setting. It only heats on the low which renders it unusable for my use. There’s only two temperature gauges on this at 1:50 and a 600.
