It isn't in a zippered compartment on the headboard. There are 3 wood panels that help support the bed frame but they are clearly not enough.

I purchased low profile box spring, but the mattress didn’t fit right with the low profile box spring.

If the price ever comes back down i will be buying another!

The price changes a lot on this frame which is kind of suspect.

It was a bit of a pain to put together but i wished i would’ve bought another for our other bedroom since the price went super high.
