If and when i wake up in the middle and cannot fall back asleep， all i do is look at the clock and count backwards from my morning alarm setting to the current time and think to myself ok， if i fall alseep right now， i will get 3 hours of sleep

But with poor eyesight and a small digital clock， i had to squint really hard to first find the time， then do the math， then start naming the states in geographic orders east to west， north to south then snake up and down until i eventually fall alseep

It only gains a second every few days so it only needs to be reset a few times a year
