It runs from my hdr atmos tv to thx certified aound system, does support dolby digital and dol by digital plus and dts signals. Sturdy little optical cable. Typical optical cables have a thin cable and this one is thick and braided.

Quality product filled my needs for improved sound quality.
More durable (in the past, cables were so thin and not the greatest), sound quality is great.
My cats chewed the cable that came with the soundbar, but i have no fears this will happen again.
There is no difference in sound quality that i could discern compared to usb on my stage v2, but i'm not an audiophile.

But the quality of this cable for the price is amazing!

It looks of very good quality but one of the tips arrived without protection…it is supposed to be optical and needs more care

Please be aware that if you are using the optical port for a soundbar to tv connection that you will also need to use a standard hdmi cable connection if you want to hear audio from your television

This cable has an attractive housing but it does not fit tight against the cable there is a gap
