No frills, no spills. The setup is simple. Great product and works exactly as advertised.
It has inputs for either optical or coaxial. I have the audio output from a tv going to the aux input of a car stereo. It takes a pcm digital signal and converts it to rca analog.
The teac feeds into fluance sv10 floor standing speakers. Works like a charm, haven't had any problems with it and does not affect the quality from the speakers. Wanted a small analog converter so as not to have to use my big onky receiver/amplifier. ... Read More

I purchased a new cable, installed it and the buzzing noise was gone.

This works fine however it took some time to figure out my tv audio had to be set to pcm mode

I previously reviewed this product as a 3 star and also said that it had a buzzing noise the buzzing noise was due to the cable that goes from the adapter to the analog sound system the cable i had kicking around in my cable drawer that i used to connect this system
