The latest 2 i ordered pushing and holding the high and low * just displays 8888 in the display and it beeps. One reads 32. F error is unacceptable. They are celsius not fahrenheit!

But alarm is ever so slightly less loud than the alarm on inexpensive wrist watch, too quiet to hear from another room.
