Pros

The fuse on the fridge was hard wired to the board, the bypass now allows me to replace the fuse if it should ever blow again. Hooking up a device straight to the ac power without a fuse, is looking for smoke at any moment.

Cons

My problem is i can't find fuses to fit. The second one the spring compressed but sticks and jams the contact at the bottom. I'd be happier with a higher-temperature plastic.
