However on one fixture i have a new lutron caseta dimmer and the bulb does not work at all in that fixture even on full brightness just flashes on and off

The led color output has a slightly yellow tint 2700k not the led blue many older leds have

Alas the dimming built in the cabinet is very old school and not appropriate or maybe even safe for leds or cfls never saw a cfl this shape anyway

Like any dimmable led its not quite as linear as incandescent bulbs on a traditional dimmer

We have two big glassfronted craftsmanstyle display cases in our living and dining rooms that we absolutely love but we rarely lit them up because display bulbs burn hot and burn out quickly
