Long cord, fit in tight places, and will give your arms a workout. Good suction. Very lightweight and easy to handle.

Dusting pad is removable so you can wash it out. Works great on hard wood, tile, carpet and rug floors. Great vac for a camper, but needs to be emptied often.

The detachable canister and hose is awkward and heavy. No control over the beater bar so you can't use it just to suction on wood flooring. Hair gets stuck in the entry ball to the debris canister, have to reach in and pull it out.

The product is so useless that it would make you never want purchase another dirt devil product ever again. The package also came opened and retaped. Very dissatisfied and disappointing.

If you run this vacuum for more than five or six minutes, the motor gets hot enough to make the plastic start to smell like it is burning. As others have commented, this seems to run very hot, and my guess is it will overheat.

The only way to really clean the fan blades it the old fashion way with just a dust cloth and maybe a spray of all purpose cleaner. The container is not easy to clean - you have to reach in with your fingers and pull the debris out.
