I have a number of boots that need the vamp raised and after suffering sticker shock at the prices of the metal tool for that 150200 and the unavailability of a less expensive wood model in a small enough size 5 i thought this isnt rocket science

So i searched thought of using one of the small bar clampstretcher tools but was uncertain if it would fit inside my shoe the videos i watched made me think not

The only modification i made was to remove the smooth short bar shown at the top of the tool in the pic here because otherwise it doesnt fit in the shoe

It removes by just unscrewing the nut

This tool wont do the entire job but it does help get past that horrible initial torture phase
