Pros & Cons
Pros
Christopher ruocchio has a finish to his seven volume series. The world of hadrian marlowe continues to get stranger. Great world building, characters, and prose.
I love how the watchers turned out to be literally biblically accurate angels. Also the angels that follow the creator are straight up out of the bible with the flaming sword and such.
Cons
The plot of the book is slow and ponderous. We have the same weird format that all of ruocchio books start out with. Part of it is his decision to write 2nd person part of it's his inability to write women well.

Disquiet gods had all of the action and emotional stakes of the series that we loved while also finally giving us some answers to our burning questions but still leaving enough breadcrumbs to keep us readers hooked for the conclusion
