Pros
I like the slim-fit design, which eliminates that baggy pant look. I prefer a slimmer pant, and these do seem to run a little wider. The leg definitely does taper a little bit at the bottom.
The fabric is really soft and isn't stiff or scratchy. This fabric also retains the drape and look that you want in your chinos. Good substance to fabric and excellent stitching.
Cons
This and other pants have the same fabric composition, 84% cotton and 16% elastic. But these pants don't have the elastic waistband.

I’ve worn these in the heat of the summer very comfortably but the midweight fabric is going to extend their season into the fall as the days cool off
