They are defective, but neither amazon nor dockers will do anything about it. Terrible low quality shoe. No arch support and stiff as a board.

Most of the shoe is leather except for the tongue. Claims to be leather and treated with a'stain defender' - but that's complete nonsense.

The tread is halfway gone and the insole squeaks when you walk. I am retired, i walk a mile each day and i putter in my garden, there is no reason these shoes should be in this shape.
