Theyre thick but not very strong so i always have a backup pair of thinner stronger laces in case they finally decide to fray and come loose

I had the same shoe before

However the shoes have improved with wear took about 5 attempts before i could wear them through the work day

The rubber sole on both shoes cracked where the heel meets the midsole progressing until the rubber had cracked all the way through and the upper separated from the sole

Given that the leather upper was still in great shape this was a disappointing end to the shoes the damage was irreparable

But ill take a chance on another pair and at this price point five years of service isnt too bad

But they are supposed to be wide and they are too narrow

If width is not an issue they would be a good shoe
