I wish that it a couple of inches longer to bring it down to the top of the calves and two that the inner liner could be removed

Its a zipper within the outer zipper but doesnt really connect anything inside the coat

I suppose it might serve as a secondary wind barrier but why not just put an internal flap behind the outer zipper
