It really has the function of making dogs stop barking. When they started yapping it normally goes on for ages, but they did quieten downand stopped barking, so well impressed.

The dog retains its basic nature but if it forgets itself and goes off on one it stops dead and stares at the device in wonder

Having been driven nuts by frequent continuous barking episodes from the dog next door over the past year or so i decided to buy this device in the hope that it might help bring about some peace and quiet but without much confidence since id tried ultrasonic cat scarers previously which didnt work
