Pros & Cons
Pros
Two-year-old lenovo t530 laptop with 3. Screen. Installed in an ide to msata adapter. Didn't have to open the imac to get the speed increase. Plan to do the same on another imac. Running ubuntu mate on an old desktop using this ssd.
Original ssd was 128gb; this is 2x the size, so larger capacity is welcome. Saved me ~400$ if got a new mini pc (thinkpad e520) still way better then a hdd. Sdd is the way to go!
