Pros
The large is just right for our 50-lb basset 32-oz cups for her food, at 6. Inches tall. The height is a little short for my labs but it's better than them eating on the floor level. Highly recommend for dogs with long ears.
This bowl works great for my yorkie who has cushings disease. This bowl is a game changer for my senior pug. Perfect for our 9lb pom-chi.
Cons
Would be fine for a miniture breed of dog. But, for the company to call this a l/g is very misleading. The dish also fits very loose in the base therfore it rattles inside the base unit.
